In the meantime, I've lined up some fantastic bloggers to fill in for me while I'm enjoying our new baby. I'll try to squeeze another post or two in before Little Miss arrives, but no promises!

36 Weeks and Counting!
Okay. So things have been a little slow around this little blog since our giveaway ended. My sincerest apologies!! However, I have been busy trying to "take it easy" and rapidly tie everything up so I'm ready for this baby to arrive. Doctor doesn't think she'll wait until her due date (which I am extremely grateful for!), which means I've got less time to get everything done. Rest assured, though, that once things have calmed down, I have some of my favorite nursery "projects" to share with you!

Pregnancy Peeves
I am about ready to wear a sign around my neck that just answers the most frequently asked questions I get while I'm out and about so I can stop repeating myself a thousand times over. Here's what it would say:
1. Yes. I know my belly is huge. No. I am not carrying multiples or due any day now. I have until October.
2. I really feel fine, thank you! I am still capable of doing my normal day to day activities, and even a few extras. Ask me again in another month or two, and the answer may be different. :)
3. Why yes, I do have my hands full with two little boys, thanks for noticing, and while we're thrilled to be having a little girl, it is not a relief. We would have been just as happy with another boy.
4. I know I have the entire Phoenix summer to deal with. Trust me. I know!!
5. No. This is not my first baby. It is my third; so yes, I have kind of an idea as to what I'm getting into.
6. Frankly, it is none of your business if we are "done yet". However. "Done Yet" implies that we have more children than we need or should want, which is farther from the truth. Each one of our babies were (somewhat) planned and we love each of them. We love being parents and we love our little family more than anything.
My belly at 28 weeks. Welcome to the 3rd trimester!! Is it weird that with this pregnancy I can never remember exactly how pregnant I am?
I have to keep looking it up...
I have to keep looking it up...
I will say that regardless of the dumb questions I get, this is the first pregnancy that I have not had one single stranger come up and rub my belly in public. I'll take dumb questions over invasion of physical space any day.

A Great "Mommy" Article!
My husband sent me this article not even 5 minutes ago (by the way? I love that he found it while he's at work...love that he's thinking of me!!), and I LOVED it. I laughed and cried all the way through it. It's all totally true; a pretty good run down for first time moms and a great reminder for those of us who are continually beating ourselves up for our mothering and/or housekeeping skills.
Anyway, check it out!!

And seriously? You may as well just start with her most recent articles. They're amazing. Just saying.

Etsy Shop Spotlight Baby Style
So...we find out in just over a week what this little bun in my oven is. Hopefully, that is. We've tried checking twice already, with no luck. BUT. This is our big ultrasound, so here's to hoping this little peanut cooperates!
Anyway. In light of the excitement of discovering if we're having another boy or a baby girl, I am going to do a couple of weeks of must have Etsy finds for baby. This week? Baby boy goods. Next week? All things girly. Ready?
1. This super cute and snuggly blanket from {Sweet Seraphina}. I love the colors and the pattern!
2. I love this sweet little owl from {Angie Baby Gifts}. Too cute!
3. I am absolutely in love with this onesie from {The Wishing Elephant}. And quite honestly, I'm in love with pretty much everything in this adorable Etsy shop. Carolyn makes the cutest things!!
4. Are these not the cutest little things you've ever seen? Adorable baby shoes from {Pink 2 Blue}.

Those are my top 5. What are your favorite baby boy items (Etsy related or not)?

Things Are A Changin'!
Yep! Baby Number 3. Which will also help explain why I've been so hit or miss on the blog and my shop lately. But. We are super excited and my oldest is positive that it's a girl. Guess we'll see soon enough!
This photo was also how we announced our pregnancy to our family and close friends. I just turned it into a card (thank you, Costco!), dropped them in the mail and waited for the phone calls to start pouring in.

So get ready...this little blog will soon be full of all sorts of baby/nursery/pregnancy stuff!
