Etsy Shop Spotlight: k2forYou

Welcome to Thursday!
Our Etsy Shop Spotlight today is K2forYou.
This shop is full of all sorts of machine embroidered goodies.

I happened to stumble across Jill's shop while I was looking for Halloween accessories for my son.  He is dressing up as a werewolf this year, and this mask is perfect.  It fits him perfectly too - and he loves it.

And, I can just imagine a handful of little girls that would love this butterfly mask.  Jill has many others to choose from; perfect for any costume or everyday dress up.

I love, love, LOVE tea towels in my kitchen.  Seriously.  Did I mention that I love them?  I have a ton that we got as wedding gifts that are going to need to be replaced soon, and I think I may have found the perfect spot to get them.  Aren't these so pretty??

Be sure to stop by K2forYou and check out all of her amazing items.  Especially if you are still hunting for those last minute Halloween accessories!

12 Days of Christmas Giveaway Day 1

It's here, it's here!
It's finally time for the start of our 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway!!

For those of you who are new to this, each year, we giveaway items every day for 12 days in a row.
(Did I mention it's starting today?!?)
Just follow the directions via Rafflecopter below, and you could win both of today's items!  You can enter to win as often as you'd like, but there will only be one winner each day, and you can only win one time during the duration of the giveaway.  Does that make sense?
Great.  Now on with the show!

Our first giveaway is from {Ella Bella Creations}.  I LOVE Chastity's designs and products.  I have purchased items from her in the past and have loved shopping from her.

She is giving away this adorable mustard yellow pin.  Cute, isn't it?  And it has SO many possibilities; on sweaters, scarves, bags, hair...

We also have the sisters from {TickettyBoo Hot Chocolate} providing a giveaway for us today.
This trio of sisters have been perfecting their family recipe for hot chocolate mix for 15 years!!  After giving it as gifts to family and friends for several years, they decided to start selling it.  I cannot wait to try some!

They are giving today's lucky winner this adorable gift basket.  It includes:
- a 20 ounce package of hot cocoa in the Original Flavor
- a 20 ounce package of hot cocoa in the Peppermint Flavor XOXO
and, a mug filled with peppermint candies

Okay.  You know what to do!!  Just follow the prompts provided by Rafflecopter, and you'll gain as many entries as you wish for today's giveaway.

Good luck and be sure to stop by to see what's being given away tomorrow!

Etsy Shop Spotlight Baby Style Girly Edition

Last week, I showed you some of my top picks in case this little one is a boy.  This week, it's all about girls!  This was a lot harder for me to narrow down, just because
              a) girls are a lot easier to shop for!
and b) since I only have boys, girl stuff is FUN to shop for!!

So, without further ado, here's my current must haves for a little girl!

1.  This little ruffled bloomer set from {Rae Gun}.  Seriously adorable and I just want to buy it right now, regardless of whether I'm having a boy or a girl.

2. The All in One Diaper Changing Clutch Wristlet from {Foxy Vida}.  Are you kidding me? I'd gladly use this as my own wristlet on date night!!

3.  Adorable ruffle bloomers and legwarmers from {Baby Night Night Boutique}.  This is another shop that I would seriously love to have one of everything.  Plus, I met the shop owner, Tricia, a few months ago, and she is seriously the sweetest thing ever.  Regardless, I love, love, LOVE her ruffle bums and legwarmers!!

4. Isn't this headband gorgeous?  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that if I do end up having a girl that she has just as much hair as my boys.  And then I'll be buying all sorts of pretty little things like this from {Avry Couture Creations}.

5. And what little girl doesn't need a little bling?  This dainty little bracelet from {Six Sisters Beadworks} is perfect.

Okay!  So there's my current top 5 must have items for a girl!
Monday's the big day...we'll keep you posted!

Etsy Shop Spotlight Baby Style

So...we find out in just over a week what this little bun in my oven is.  Hopefully, that is.  We've tried checking twice already, with no luck.  BUT.  This is our big ultrasound, so here's to hoping this little peanut cooperates!

Anyway.  In light of the excitement of discovering if we're having another boy or a baby girl, I am going to do a couple of weeks of  must have Etsy finds for baby.  This week?  Baby boy goods.  Next week?  All things girly.  Ready?

1. This super cute and snuggly blanket from {Sweet Seraphina}.  I love the colors and the pattern!

2.  I love this sweet little owl from {Angie Baby Gifts}.  Too cute!

3.  I am absolutely in love with this onesie from {The Wishing Elephant}.  And quite honestly, I'm in love with pretty much everything in this adorable Etsy shop.  Carolyn makes the cutest things!!

4. Are these not the cutest little things you've ever seen?  Adorable baby shoes from {Pink 2 Blue}.

5. I love this Boppy cover.  Bright and fun with a super soft, minky side.  This is from {Designs by Christy}.

Those are my top 5.  What are your favorite baby boy items (Etsy related or not)?

Twinkle Toes: A DIY Gift Idea

Here's a quick, easy idea for a non-edible (cause don't we get enough junk to munch on this month?) gift that is perfect for teachers, girlfriends, secretaries...whoever! Last year I made these for my girlfriends; this year I'm making them for all the girls in my husband's office.

What are they? Twinkle Toes kits!

Simply take a small container of your choice. This year I used the little paint cans from your local craft store. Decorate the outside with any type of paper/fabric/ribbon combo you want.

And them stuff them full of all the cute mani/pedi supplies you want! ULTA is a great place to get your items, as is your local drug store. If you watch closely (or if you're an avid coupon-er) you can get most, if not all of your supplies for next to nothing. I think last year I spent a total of $7.00/kit. What did I put in them? A full size nail polish, mini bottle of lotion, toe separators, a tree-shaped pumice stone and a nail file/buffer. A few pieces of chocolate never hurts either.

I'm still not quite done "stuffing" my paint cans for this year yet, and I still have some finishing touches to add, but you get the idea.

These were the kits I made last year. I found the cute little jars at Hobby Lobby for 50% off; the rest of the paper/ribbon I already had at home.

Have fun! And I promise they'll be a big hit!
